My Ever Changing Story and Storyboards

As I made evident in my last post, I've been having trouble finding the right story to tell which has delayed my entire project a few days, leaving less time for analyzing it. I can feel that the story is coming at any moment now! In the meantime, I want to share the two storyboards I made for "The song of the stars" and my second rough draft!

The Song of the Stars (Scrapped!)

While developing my first digital storyboard, I used an app on my iPad called Autodesk Sketchbook Pro, it took me more than 1 hour to get one single frame done. From drawing that frame, I learned that it's important to be efficient, that color doesn't matter, and that not much detail is necessary! As you can tell the colors are very dark and the pencil drawings are not very visible because the one image is composed of multiple layers. I am also not very artistic which, even when unnecessary for this storyboard's purpose, makes it much more time consuming for me because I lack practice in drawing.

Untitled 2 (Scrapped!)
I also began doing a storyboard for my second crapped story! This time in a program called "Storyboarder". I LOVE THIS PROGRAM!! It's so efficient because I can work on the same storyboard form my phone, iPad, or desktop! I drew the storyboard right on the app and then the program allowed it to play it as an animation to better visualize the shots and angles I planned for the scene.  By doing to the storyboard for this story I gained experience using the Storyboarder app; on the video in this post, you can see the process of the first scene drawn out on the app.

My Final Story
Inspiration FINALLY hit today! I settled on a story!!! I'm writing a separate blog post and I'll begin to storyboard tonight!
